Tréffiagat is a conurbation that has developed principally on the left bank of Le Guilvinec, up to the port of Léchiagat, Le Guilvinec’s first port. Formerly part of the parish of Plobannalec, Tréffiagat became an independent parish in the 14th century.

Léchiagat Point should be visited, with its 26 metre lighthouse which sits at the entrance to Le Guilvinec’s port and dominates the bay. This coastline is backed by dunes and offers four kilometres of fine sandy beaches including those of Lehan (where there is also the 7km menhir circuit), and those of Skividen and Le Reun, where you can sunbathe and swim.

The nautical centre at Skividen introduces children and adults to the delights of sailing and sea kayaking. Set between the town and the coast, don’t miss a visit to the 15th century Saint-Fiacre chapel, with its flamboyant style and its asymmetrical roof.
