Located between Concarneau, Fouesnant and Bénodet, La Forêt Fouesnant is a pretty little town in southern Finistère which lends itself perfectly for active holidays. In this area you will discover the Gulf of Odet, one of the finest bays in Brittany, as well as the beautiful beach of Kerleven, a long beach composed of fine sand, sheltered from the prevailing winds and ideal for swimming. The town also has an interesting chapel, an impressive granite church, a range of shops, and a market on Sunday morning.

La Forêt Fouesnant embodies the charm and authenticity of a Breton village. By means of its country roads or its coastal footpaths, you will discover the old port, evidence of the fishing industry which used to thrive here. The large marina, Port La Forêt, hosts the top sailors in offshore racing. La Forêt Fouesnant sits in a verdant and wooded landscape, facing south, at the far end of a bay which curves in between Beg-Meil and Concarneau, and enjoys a particularly mild micro-climate. It offers a choice location for those wishing to alternate between relaxation and sporty activities, walking in the countryside and the attractions of the sea.

Other things to do include visiting the ruins of the abbey of Saint-Laurent, and exploring the 40km of marked walking routes. Numerous festivals and events take place during the season: the Old Port Festival, the cider festival, and weekly musical or folklore evenings.
