La Maison du Pâté Hénaff
The fabulous story of Pâté Hénaff since 1907!
A museum in Pouldreuzic, near Quimper, tells all about the world of Pâté Hénaff: the firm, its history, its products…For over 100 years, the Hénaff story has been writing itself in this land, interlinked and inextricable from the history of the area. By creating a museum in the former house of the business' founder, the documents, tools, films, photos and testimonies which had been carefully preserved since 1907 are now available to all.
The museum has been divided into several spaces, one of which is dedicated to the famous blue and yellow box, an object with cult status in terms of Breton identity and gastronomy.
Whilst learning about the life of Jean Hénaff up to current day news, by way of the origins of industrialisation, you may perhaps discover the secret of Pâté Hénaff?
At the foot of the water tower, the Hénaff boutique is the ultimate shopping destination for fans of this brand. It is the only place where you can find their full range of products. The shop covers 136m², encompassing 8 product areas, offering plenty of scope to linger! Hénaff collectors will find a selection of books, jewellery, toys, marine products, drinks, dishware and textiles.
Of course the full 'Hénaff by A l'aise Breizh' collection is available, perfect if you’re looking for a gift for someone or a treat for yourself.
The gardens next to the museum are ideal for some fresh air and relaxation after your visit, with wooden picnic tables, an arbour and a play area for children and toddlers.
There is also a tea room for refreshments.
